"Honesty is more than not lying. It is truth telling, truth speaking, truth living, and truth loving."

Honesty is important for all relationships formed in life. With your family, significant other, friends, co-works, everyone that you create bonds with. If you can't be honest with each other, what is your relationship based on?
I'm brutally honesty if you want my honest opinion. I won't hold back and I won't lie to someone to make them feel better. I won't beat around the bush and try to come up with ways to make something sound nicer if it's something I don't agree or like. I don't know why, but I'm just like that. I don't believe in trying to hide my opinions to make someone else feel better. If someone wants my opinion, I'll give it, whether it's good or bad. I may come off as rude or unfriendly but I won't lie to someone just for them to like me or to have something in common with them. And that's just me. That's what my sense of honesty is. I'm not always negative or have a negative response but when I do, at least I'm being real. I would rather tell someone the truth then beat around the bush. And I'm not saying that everyone should be like me. I'm pretty sure the world would be such a negative place if it was like that.
It's a good thing I have Israel, he balances out our relationship. He's always so positive and always tries to be honest without the harshness that I usually have.
Honesty was just something that came to mind, something that I believe all relationships should be based on! But relationships should also be based on trust, love, respect and fun - or at least that's what Israel and I's relationship is.
