Late Night Drive

Israel and I decided to go for a late night drive to take some videos of his car with our new GoPro (I've wanted a GoPro for forever and finally got one! Yay!). We drove downtown and man is Edmonton downtown a different atmosphere during the night on a weekday! It was quiet, barely any cars and no one out at all! The only times we ever really drive downtown is during the day or on the weekends! It was nice to see Edmonton in a different way. It seemed more humble and calm rather than the busy, hustle and bustle that most people witness during the day or weekends!




Brewery District

When Israel was done taking videos of his car, we decided to drive around the city to look for a place to take photos for my blog - and hence the location of my photos. I've seen the Brewery District during the day but never really thought anything of it. I go past here at least once a month and always just thought of it was a "newly constructed" area downtown. But at night, it was actually really pretty. The buildings had an "old" feel to them but the bright lights made it read "I'm brand new!". They had a few stores there, a little bit of everything - a Winners, Superstore, Shoppers Drug Mart and even a GoodLife! So basically, it has a little bit of everything. The residents living in that area must be super stoked to have so many stores at their fingertips!


The Brewery District is definitely something I want to explore a little more when I have more time. It'll have to be during the day next time so I can actually go into the stores during business hours!
