I feel since I've gotten pregnant, especially the last few months, I've lost my sense style. Don't get me wrong, I've been wearing and buying pieces I love but I've had to stay away from a lot of items I like because I know I won't fit them now. My go to pieces as of late have been baggier dresses, blazers, oversized turtlenecks/knit sweaters and leggers. As for shoes, I've been staying away from heels A LOT and I mean A LOT A LOT! And if you know me, I love wearing my heels.
And don't get me wrong, a lot of these pieces are items I would wear before but I haven't been able to incorporate my moto jackets, heels, leather pants, cute camisoles and so much more. As much as I love carrying Baby DK, I can't wait for summer and I can't wait to start wearing some of my "non-pregnant" clothing!
Iz and I had date night this weekend and this outfit has made me feel a little more like myself. I've got my signature moto jacket, I opted for a baggier skirt rather than a dress and pop on some cute heels. I don't know what it is, maybe the fact that I actually popped on a moto jacket or wore a piece of clothing I haven't worn in a while but I was just feeling this outfit even though it wasn't a big deal or anything. I think, it's just something I would have worn before without having to think about if my belly is going to pop out or not!
I can't wait for Baby DK to come - so I can snuggle him AND I can start having a bigger wardrobe at my finger tips!
