I haven't been a huge fan of denim shorts - I did own a few pairs, but I rarely wore them. My issue witht them was that they were too casual and for the most part, I love wearing heels! So I never really wore them as I felt they would never go well with my heels. They would basically be my "okay, I'm lazy today, let's just throw on some shorts or whatever I can find ..." outfit and I deeply regret neglecting them as such.




How I Style It

My favortie way to wear denim shorts is to pair it with a more classier top! Something that is a little more feminine and girly to tone down how casual denim shorts are. Then when I wear a pair of heels, I don't feel like those girls who used to wear Juicy Couture sweat suits with high heels - I always felt that those outfits were just out of place and I didn't want to feel like that with denim shorts! So pairing my shorts with a feminine top allows me to wear my heels with no problems!


Now all I need is a pair of white, distressed denim shorts and I think my denim shorts collection is complete!
