Yes, I've used old photos for this post and I have 2 other sets I can use to write posts, but I wanted to write a post to say thank you to 2018.
2018 has had a lot of ups and downs like most years but 2018 has brought a lot of amazing things into my life. It has been a test between Israel and I, but one that we're always able to pass, a year of realization and a year that I've figured out myself a little more.
It has been a year of "on and off" blogging which I was hoping to be more "on" but become more "off" towards my first trimester but lets hope I can get back into this. But what I really wanted to do was focus on the positives of the past year, so here's to the amazing things of 2018!
- Baby Sanchey. If you ever saw my Instagram story about being unsure about having a baby, you would think that maybe I would be swayed away from having a little one in our family. But Iz and I decided that if it happened, that it would happen. And sure enough, it happened and I am beyond glad to have a little Sanchey growing inside me. There are definitely a lot of nervousness and fear of failing this part of my life but I'm pretty sure every mother feels this way with their first born. But I am beyond thankful for this chance in my life and I cannot wait to meet Baby Sanchey in 2019
- Mia Isabella. Mia Isabella is a little bratty sister for my baby Berks but she's brought a lot of love in my life. She may bring a little grief in our life and is a bratty puppy but I still love her. She has helped us a lot with Berks and channeling his energy into playing with her and I feel like it's a reminder for me of what to expect when Baby Sanchey comes.
- 2 Year Wedding Anniversary. Time flies and I cannot believe it's been 2 years since Iz and I have been married. It marked our 9 years of being together but hearing those numbers are just unbelievable. 9 years with the most amazing man and I just forgot how fast time flies because life has just been so amazing.
- A Test of Patience. This year has test of my patience. There have been so many events and things that have happened that has tested my patience and made me realize exactly what I needed and wanted in my life. As much as I know when to take a stand, I've come to realization that I need to be a little more stern when it comes to other things. I may have found myself saying "I will fight you, I will fight them, I will fight someone" more often than I needed too but like I said, I've had my patience tested too many times. So thank you 2018 for making me be more calm.
2018 you have been a roller coast ride but thank you for everything you've brought me!
- The Cassie Paige
