I loved these photos of Iz (thanks to me - the best photographer ever!) and I've been wanting to best them because I just loved the way they turned out, so I decided to dedicate a post to him. I know I've talked a lot about how Israel and I met but I never explained why I fell in love with his incredible self.
- He includes me in everything. I've been a relationship where some friendships and hobbies were kept separate. When I started dating Israel, he included me in everything - meeting all his friends and inviting me to everything he was ever invited too. And since then, everything we do has been like that. We include each other in our hobbies, events and basically just everything.
- When we disagree, he always reminds me that he loves me. Fighting with a S/O is always difficult. Especially for me, I get so emotional and I cry because I just get so worked up. But even we don't see eye to eye on something, Israel always makes it known that he still loves me. I remember our first fight, it was over something petty and stupid. I was crying and yelling and so upset and Israel just looked at me and said, "I'm sorry, I really care about you." It was that moment, I knew he was a keeper.
- He does everything he can for me. I didn't drive for the longest time and at one point I was working on the opposite side of the city. Israel works shift work and that never stopped him from driving me or picking me up from work, especially when the weather was really bad outside. There are a lot of people who would NEVER take the time to do that, especially when the drive could be between 45 minutes to an hour. And this is only 1 of amazing things he did for me.
- He teaches me new things. I didn't know a thing about cars until I met Iz. He taught me so many things about cars that most people don't even know! He teaches me Spanish and I understand more Spanish than I do Tagalog. He's got all this knowledge about so many things and he just is constantly always teaching me something new!
- We're opposites but we're the same. There are so many things that makes us opposites - we grow up with different parenting skills from our parents, I love dogs and Iz on the other hand, could live without them. I can binge watch a show for hours and Iz needs to be constantly moving. But it's these little things are what keeps things interesting. But there are also so many things we have in common; we like anime, we enjoy playing a good video game, and dorky stuff like that!
- I can never get sick of him. In other relationships, I always felt trapped and stuck. I needed space, I wanted to be around other people but with Israel - I never feel that way. I can't wait to go home and see him, I can't wait until we have days off and can just spend time with each other. I sleep better at night when I'm next to him. Everything is just better with him.
- He makes me smile. Everything Isreal does just puts a smile on my face - the things he says, the dorky dances he does, the lame jokes he tells, just seeing his face. He just seems to always put a smile on my face.
- He makes compromises to make us work. There are a lot of couples who don't know how to make compromises to make a relationship work. But that's the amazing thing about Israel, he's taught me that we need to make compromises to both be happy. We have to try a little harder and work a little harder to make sure we're always happy.
- I've seen him make changes for me. It amazes me how much Israel will work on things to make me happy. Just thinking of the person I started dating to the man i married, I can see all the changes he made to make me happy and the changes we've made together to make us work. It's such a amazing thing to see - especially 9 years of changes.
- He's genuine. He's a genuine human being. I've seen so many ups and downs with this human being and I can honestly say he is the greatest man of life.
Israel is the best husband. I've been blessed to have such an amazing man in my life. It's even more amazing to be able to spend the rest of my life with him.

This was such a sweet post to read. Honestly at first though I thought this post was going to be about why you love the country Israel! I totally thought I had clicked on a travel post at first.
