Trying

try
/trī/
verb
gerund or present participle: trying
  1. make an attempt or effort to do something.
  2. attempt to achieve or attain.
Trying at something is completely different than doing. If someone says "try to lose weight" are you actually working to lose weight? If someone says, "try to be better", there is no motivation to actually be better. I won't lie, there have been times when I've been a try-er, but I like to get over that hump and become a doer; like this blog for example. I tried on more than one occasion to start a blog and for the longest time, I would start just to give up. And one day, I decided "this is what I want and this is what I need" and decided that I needed to be a do-er if I wanted to have a blog that I actually loved and wasn't ashamed of. It took a lot of work and a lot of ups and downs but I've finally found my "personality" of The Cassie Paige.

But that's the type of person I've always been. I've always been a person who keeps on giving and going to get over that "trying" hump to become a doer.

Doing

do
/do͞o/
verb
gerund or present participle: doing
  1. perform (an action, the precise nature of which is often unspecified).
  2. perform (a particular task).
  3. work on (something) to bring it to completion or to a required state.
I've always considered myself a do-er (when it comes to things I actually am passionate about). When there's something new I need to learn or an obstacle I need to get over, I don't like to just try and hope I get it, I want to do and learn how to be better. I have always been a quick learner, so if something seems interesting to me, I pick up things very fast. If I struggle to find something interesting, it takes me a little longer to work but that doesn't mean I give up and plateau in my learning, I work even harder.

So stop being a try-er and become a doer. Move the word "try" from your vocabulary and just do it. Decided if you want to do it or not; if you want to "try" that's not doing. And give it your all; you have to put in 110% because if you're going to half-ass whatever it is you're trying to do, you're never going to see an end result.

I won't lie - try-ers upset me. Stop being a try-er because if you're not going to be a do-er, than you're setting yourself up for failure. There is no point of "trying" at something and getting nowhere. Work hard and be deserving of the chance.

  5. Check the 'For Sale' or 'Free' links to search for free or cheap funds. Craigslist is a great resource for those who have more time before moving on. If you are in a hurry, this may not be your best choice as it will take some time to pick up boxes and supplies.
