What the Weather

It started snowing the beginning of October and it's been depressing. Its not always snowing but the weather has been so cold! I know most Canadians wouldn't be surprised because it's not uncommon here but still - I wasn't ready for it. Last winter was one of the best winters we had since forever and I was hoping (despite hearing that this winter is gonna be a bad one) this year would be just as good.




Winter Wear

I hate winter clothing. I will do anything in my power not to wear winter clothing. I hardly ever wear pants, let alone boots. I don't even own a winter parka because I don't want to wear it! The only "winter" coats I own is a wool coat and this faux far jacket. I don't think they are made for -40°C weather but to invest in a parka that I'll hate wear seems to unrealistic to me.

But considering that this winter will be a bad one, I might have to cave in and buy a Canada Goose coat and maybe some Uggs. Just the thought of it makes me cringe a little inside. Those two pieces of clothing just scream winter and I don't want anything to do with it!



I hope that it's not true when they say that this is gonna be the worst winter! I don't like winter very much, especially the winter driving!
