I think I had a million dollars, there are so many things I would love to do and experience.
First off, I would travel more! Japa would be first on my list - to try their food and experience their lifestyle would be amazing! I would go to Thailand and attend a moon party and sit on the beach all day! I would go to New York and visit Time Square! Head to the Caribbean and swim in the ocean! There are just so many places I would travel too. I think I would be gone a whole year to just travel!
I would also pay off any debt I had - student loans, my car, our house! To be free of those debts would be freeing! And buy a new home with a bigger backyard for my puppies to run around and enjoy the outdoors (even though they would probably come back inside half the time)!
I would buy all those designer shoes and handbags I've dreamt of having! I'm a big shoes and handbags person and to have a closet full of all the designer ones I've ever wanted to be a dream come true! And I would make sure I had a closet that was beyond amazing to store all those goodies!
There are just so many things I could name off I would love to buy and own!
And as much as I would love to have all those amazing things, I'm beyond grateful for the things I have now! I've hit the jackpot with Israel - he's the most amazing man EVER! He's knowledgeable, caring, sweet, and I could never get sick of seeing his gorgeous face every day! He's the number 1 reason why I feel like I'm a millionaire every day! He just makes life worth living!
I have a job that I love with an amazing boss! And I don't think I could ever imagine saying that because for years, I hated what I did and some of the places I worked at! But to have a boss that actually listens and takes into consideration my thoughts and ideas is beyond amazing and I'm so grateful to be where I am now.
I have an amazing family that loves to spend time with each other! It is a blessing to be able to go to visit my family without feeling pressured to be there! And I love that my parents always try to include Israel and me in everything they do - concerts, family dinners, or even simple things like bowling!
There are so many more things to be more thankful for other than materialistic things. I think we sometimes forget to be grateful for these things but at the end of the day, it's these kinds of things that make us rich - rich in life.
If you were a millionaire, what would you be doing with your riches?

ReplyDeleteI love that quote - it's so true.
ReplyDeletePaying off debts first is also very smart.
Your outfit looks very pretty, and I love the locale and colourful artistic mural that you chose to pose in front of for your outfit photos.
I like that skirt and blouse combination. You look fabulous.
