Instagram Goals

Almost everyone I know has Instagram - whether they're consistently posting or just using it to browse (or creep) - people are on it. So it was no doubt that I was ecstatic to get 10000 followers this month on there! To me, it was a huge accomplishment - I work hard to get followers by liking, commenting and following fellow fashion bloggers. It's almost like a part time job; it needs the time and dedication to see any kind of growth.

Blogging is a completely different then Instagram. Yet, it seems that most bloggers are moving towards Instagram as their main social media. As much as I would love to make Instagram my No. 1 social media, I love my blog. But I feel like I love my blog more because it's more open - I can write just about anything and everything! While with Instagram, I feel like you have to follow more of a theme - color scheme, topic theme (fashion, pets, cars etc.)

Blogging just seems to be easier and less stress yet without Instagram, I feel like I wouldn't be able to grow as a blogger and influencer of my community. So then it comes to the conclusion, does one blog more or Instagram more? Where does one put more dedication too?

I've been trying to actually blog quite a bit more recently - trying to write something on Monday's, Wednesdays's and Friday's - and so far it seems to be going great and it allows me to get more photos to post on Instagram but that also means have to try to post all my photos on Instagram and planning out which photos to post and what days but making sure I let my followers know I have a new post out.

It's a lot of work but I love it.

  1. I think we all have had this problem, especially those who have another office job like me! Need to find the balance!

  2. We should make a plan to handle the social media. I like your post. You look cute also.
